The Hawks Pvt Ltd has expanded its fleet with the acquisition of MT Hawks Liberty, now the largest oil tanker owned by a private company in the Maldives. With a carrying capacity of over 25,415 metric tonnes, the vessel represents a significant milestone for the fuel and logistics provider.
The company said the acquisition strengthens its ability to meet rising fuel demand both within the Maldives and in overseas markets such as Singapore, Dubai, Colombo, Shanghai, Monaco, Malaysia, Turkey, and London. Hawks Liberty is expected to play a central role in ensuring reliable fuel supply to clients across multiple industries, including tourism, construction, and transportation.
Established in 2007, The Hawks Pvt Ltd has built a reputation as a key player in the Maldivian fuel sector. Alongside its fleet of oil tankers, the company operates a network of fuel stations across the country, as well as a number of barges and bowsers. Its operations also extend into construction, transportation, and hospitality.
