Dhiraagu TV, the most comprehensive nationwide TV service in the Maldives, has launched four Disney channels in the Maldives for the first time. Dhiraagu TV subscribers can now watch their favourite Disney stories and characters on Disney Channel, Disney International HD, Disney Junior and Disney XD.
Disney Junior offers magical, musical and heartfelt stories and characters for kids between 2 to 7. The popular shows include Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Doc McStuffins, Sofia The First and more. Kids can also watch some of their favourite classic characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Goldilocks, the Seven Dwarfs from Snow White and Peter Pan’s arch nemesis Captain Hook in a brand new exciting format.
Disney Channel taps into the entertainment needs of 4 to 14-year-olds with storytelling in a manner that is relevant to them and with characters that they can relate to. Kids will be able to watch DuckTales, Elena of Avalor, Art Attack, PJ Masks, Doraemon and more on the channel.
With Disney XD, kids between the age of 6 to 14, will get access to content that appeals to their quest for discovery, accomplishment, sports, adventure and humour. Some of the popular shows include Marvel’s Spider-Man, Avengers, Beyblade, Pokemon and more.
Dhiraagu TV has also launched Disney International HD, a channel introducing world-class English content to the youth. Disney International HD features all the latest hits like ‘Liv and Maddie’, ‘K.C. Undercover’ and ‘Girl Meets World’, to blockbuster original movies like ‘Descendants’, ‘Teen Beach Movie’ and ever-popular hits like ‘Hannah Montana’ and ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ and ‘High School Musical’ in HD.
