Maldivian Adds Additional Evening Flight on Malé–Muli Route

Maldivian has introduced an additional daily evening flight on the Malé–Muli route, increasing air connectivity to Meemu Atoll.

According to the airline, the new service began operating on 27 December 2025, with departures from Malé scheduled at 18:00. A test flight was conducted earlier on 18 December as part of operational readiness checks.

With the added service, Maldivian now operates two flights from Malé to Muli and three flights from Muli to Malé each day. The airline said the revised schedule is intended to offer greater flexibility for passengers, including those travelling for work, official duties, and essential services, while improving same-day travel options for residents of Muli.

The additional evening flight also comes amid increased travel during the holiday season, while continuing to support regular community and business travel throughout the year. Maldivian stated that the change reflects adjustments to its domestic operations based on passenger demand and connectivity needs.

Maldivian is the national airline of the Maldives and operates domestic, seaplane, and international services across the country and to selected overseas destinations
