The ‘Payer’ is the first ever Maldivian application introduced which can be used to make payments more conveniently for basic services.
The CEO of Payer private limited, Mr Ali Haaris outlined that the main aim of the application is to provide convenience in making all payments. Hence, from the 23rd this month, payments such as Ooredoo bill payments as well as Raastas and Reload can be paid through the application. Moreover, gift cards of other applications such as Lavafoshi, Itunes, Google Play, PlayStation Network and Spotify are also available for purchase through Payer.
Mr Haaris also stated that the application can also be used to pay water and electricity bills in the coming days while the main goal of the company is to be among the leading payment applications such as eLife and WeChat Pay by providing excellent services.
He also outlined that by having the application, there is no need to have numerous applications to make payments neither waiting in long queues while the application is available for download from Google Playstore and Apple Appstore as well.
