Abdulla Falah Shareef Appointed as Deputy Housing Minister

Abdulla Falah Shareef has today been appointed as the Deputy Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.

Abdulla Falah Shareef earlier served as the President of the Fuvahmulah Atoll Council and later as the Mayor of Fuvahmulah City.

Falah contested in the main-ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP)’s primary to re-run as Fuvahmulah Mayor in the most recent Local Council Election. However, he did not succeed in winning the primary.
