Patina Maldives Fari Island announces the appointment of Ahmed Fazeel, popularly known as “Laudey” as the resort’s Essentialist Manager.
With over 15 years of experience Fazeel joins Patina Maldives Fari Islands as one of the most decorated Butler Managers in the country. Fazeel holds internationally accredited butler training certifications from The International Institute of Modern Butlers and from Heilbron Hospitality South Africa. In Addition to this he has also completed Level 1 and 2 accreditations from the Magnum Butler Academy via remote learning in 2020.
Fazeel is well known in the Maldives for his key role in numerous pre-openings including that of Cheval Blanc Randheli, Vakkaru, Joali and Raffles Maldives. He was instrumental in developing the luxury Maldivian butler service standards and culture as part of the managerial team at Vakkaru, Joali and Raffles Maldives.
As Essentialist Manager, Fazeel will lead a new breed of highly focused and service-oriented butlers called Essentialists. They are service focused and ever-present to help guests shape their travel journey through tailormade experiences in the Maldives.
Fazeel will be joining the Patina team from his previous role as front office and butler manager at Raffles Maldives. Prior to joining Raffles, he also held Chief Butler, Head Butler, Butler and other Front Office positions in the resorts he has worked in Maldives. Fluent in Italian, Fazeel has also worked at the Train Italia (Euro Star) in Milan, and the Grand Hotel Gardone, Brescia.
