Thai Air Asia has begun the sale of Bangkok to Male’ routes ticket for $350 (MVR 5,397 approximately). According to All H Maldives; the agent of Thai Air Asia in Maldives, this is a promotional price and the tickets should be purchased before the 25th of this month and can be used for a travel period of 1 year.
Air Asia will be using Airbus A320 with 180 seats for their operations to the Maldives. Additionally, passengers will be given a baggage allowance of 30kgs.
With the commencement of this direct route to Bangkok, a total of 3 airlines will be operated between Male’ and Bangkok. Hence, other airlines are selling the tickets between $450 to $550.
