AirAsia has resumed international flights from Malaysia to the Maldives after more than two long years of no direct air connectivity between the two countries.
Scheduled flights are currently in operation twice a week from Kuala Lumpur to Velana International Airport and the airlines is expected to increase the frequencies in tandem with the demand. AirAsia is the only flight offering direct flights between the two countries without any stopovers.
