Ali Navaz has been promoted from Hurawalhi Resort Manager to the General Manager of Komandoo resort.
Navaz initially joined the CCR family in November 2017 as Front of House Manager at Hurawalhi Maldives and was transferred to Rooms Division Manager in May 2019. His hard work & continuous support to the Hurawalhi team paved his promotion to Resort Manager in March 2021. Navaz completed his GCE Ordinary level in 1999 and accomplished his Diploma in Sports Management in 2001.
He pursued a career in hospitality in 2001 and worked in various positions, from Guest Relations officer to Guest Relations Manager at Maldives’ Resorts. In 2008, he worked in the pre-opening task force for Six Senses Zighy Bay for three months. He was primarily involved in Front Office setup and training butlers, and in 2014, he was part of the Management Training at six senses Ninh Van Bay for one month and also trained the Front Office team.
His passion for engagement and holding the Resort Manager position for over one year in Hurawalhi with outstanding performance makes Navaz the ideal leader for Komandoo. Moreover, Navaz will be taking part in Cornell University, New York General Manager program in 2023.
