Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives participated in the Construction Industry Forum (CIF) 2026 last week, leading discussions on supply chain resilience and project risk management.

Held at the Grand Parkside on August 18, 2026, Allied Insurance served as the official insurance partner for the forum and dispatched key executives to address building sector professionals, policymakers, and industry stakeholders. According to Allied Insurance, the sessions evaluated ongoing developments, structural challenges, and strategic opportunities facing the Maldivian construction industry.

Hussain Sawaad, Manager of Customer Service at Allied, represented the firm as a panelist during a session entitled “Re-engineering Supply Chains in an Age of Global Conflict”. The panel examined the growing strain on international supply networks resulting from geopolitical instability and market volatility. During the debate, Sawaad outlined methods for strengthening operational resilience, mitigating logistics delays, and adapting local procurement strategies to rapidly shifting market conditions, the company said.

In a separate address, Mariyam Asna, Assistant Manager of Sales, delivered a technical presentation titled “Safeguard Your Construction Projects”. Asna focused on structured risk management protocols and the strategic application of tailored insurance coverage. Allied Insurance said her session detailed operational methods for insulating construction projects against unforeseen delays, material damages, and financial liabilities throughout their lifecycle.
