Villa College has officially announced the commencement of the 2024 May intake, offering a diverse array of study opportunities across 150 courses, both online and face-to-face.
Prospective students have until Saturday, April 20, 2024, to submit their applications, with courses scheduled to commence in the final week of May.
To facilitate accessibility, Villa College offers a flexible fee payment plan, allowing students to pay in monthly instalments. Moreover, the government has instituted a tuition-free initiative for first-degree programs across all bachelor’s degree offerings at Villa College.
Applying for the May intake courses is streamlined through the online application process, with applicants able to track their application status promptly. Responses to applications are typically provided within three to five days.
The course catalogue for the May intake encompasses a broad spectrum of disciplines, ranging from private courses at Villa College to masters and undergraduate programs in collaboration with the University of the West of England and Taylors University. Offerings include fields such as Information Technology, Education, Law, Tourism, Business Management, Engineering, Nursing, Psychology, and many more.
Additionally, Villa College extends admission to National Certificate 4 and Certificate 3 courses under the Maldives National Skills Development Authority (MNSDA). These courses cover various vocational areas such as Housekeeping, Computer Hardware, Lifeguarding, and Electrical Installation, among others.
Engineering programs at Villa College, validated by the University of Portsmouth, provide students with the opportunity to seamlessly transition to Portsmouth University for their final year upon completion of the initial three years at Villa College.
As the country’s sole ACCA Gold status tuition provider, Villa College offers a comprehensive suite of ACCA courses, including the option for ACCA students to enroll in ACCA Accelerate and Oxford Brookes University’s BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting course. Similarly, Villa College provides courses accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) across various levels.
