An exhibition dedicated to the woodwork creations made by the late Musthafa Azmy, the ICT department head of STO has opened.
This special exhibition was launched by the Minister of Arts, Culture & Heritage, Yumna Maumoon at the National Art Gallery.
Azmy passed away due to injuries he got while working on the refurbishment of the woodwork at a mosque, in April.
The exhibition will showcase woodwork creations made from the common trees found in the Maldives; Mango tree, Jujube tree (Kunnaaru), Sea Hibiscus (Dhiggaa), Portia tree (Hirundhu) and Bullet wood tree (Moonimaa).
The last day of the Azmy Memorial Exhibition is 28th August (Wednesday).
