Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that work on the design and build of B. Fehendhoo Harbor is well underway, with overall 89% project progress. The company has commenced installation of slab of the connecting bridge.
Scope of works for the project include new harbor basin dredging operations of 18,500cbm; new entrance channel dredging operations of 25,000cbm; the construction of a 214m quay wall; a 130m breakwater; and a 282m revetment.
Additionally, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights and installation of 558sqm of paved area will also be undertaken.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 45.1 million.
