B. Thulhaadhoo Shore Protection Structures 70% Complete: MTCC

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that work on design and build of shore protection structures at B. Thulhaadhoo is well underway, with overall 70% project progress.

Scope of works for the project include, backfilling of 11,700cbm of sand and bed preparation; construction of a 280m geo bag revetment. The backfilling and bed preparation work has been completed already according to MTCC.

This project is valued at MVR 10.13 million.

In the past 3 years, MTCC has carried out 42 projects of harbour construction, land reclamation and shore protection.
