As part of Bank of Maldives’ commitment to support the development of sports in the country, the Bank has entered into an agreement with the Maldives Surfing Association (MSA) to become the Official Sponsor of all national surf teams.
As part of this partnership, Bank of Maldives will also support the annual National Junior Surfing Championship organized by MSA, to promote the development of young talent in the sport.
BML’s In-charge and Acting MD Aishath Noordeen said “We are tremendously proud to partner with Maldives Surfing Association through our BML Islamic arm. Like many, we continue to be impressed by the talent of local surfers and through this partnership, we hope to make a real difference in promoting the sport and supporting young athletes achieve their professional dreams.”
Bank of Maldives continues its investment in sports with partnerships with national associations of football, swimming and tennis. Most recently, as part of its 40th Anniversary monthly initiatives, the Bank announced its Sports Scholarship for top athletes in association with Maldives Olympic Committee.
