As part of the Bank of Maldives’ commitment to invest in supporting the local communities, BML has supported the establishment of a therapy room for children with complex learning difficulties and disabilities in Imaduddin School.
The therapy room is designed to positively impact learning and development in an inclusive environment and is equipped to provide services including speech and occupational therapy as well as sensory activities and counselling. The therapy room is expected to be used by over 130 students enrolled in the Jewel Centre at Imaduddin School.
The Bank continues to invest in projects supporting charitable, educational, sports and environmental causes. In the past four years, the Bank has donated educational tools to 40 schools across the country to support students in classes. The Bank has also invested in the upgrading of computer labs in atoll schools.
