BML expands ‘Cashless Ride’ service to Hulhumale’

Bank of Maldives has extended its Cashless Ride service to Hulhumale’, meaning that people can now conveniently pay for their taxi journey using their debit or credit card.

BML Cashless Ride features special Point-of-Sale terminals for taxis and the service has proven popular in Male’ since its launch in February of last year. Customers can pay using any debit or credit card issued by Bank of Maldives. They also have the option of making payment using BML MobilePay, the Bank’s contactless payment service.

BML Deputy CEO and Director of Operations, Mohamed Shareef commented “We are delighted to support the growing population of Hulhumale’ with this convenient service. We believe our customers will benefit from the option of not having to count out cash and wait for their change at the end of a taxi journey.”
