Bank of Maldives has re-opened applications for the BML Small Grants Fund to allow NGOs an additional opportunity to access financing to implement sustainable environmental projects. The Small Grants Fund was introduced earlier this year as part of the Bank’s 40th anniversary to support NGOs.
The fund is open for NGOs to carry out community-based projects that address environmental issues and promote sustainable development. The Fund will award MVR 250,000 each for the top 8 projects.
Applications must be received by 15th September 2022 via email. NGOs registered in the Maldives before 31st December 2021 are eligible to apply.
