Bank of Maldives has opened a new Self Service ATM in GDh. Fares Mathoda as part of its commitment to supporting local communities.
In addition to the usual cash withdrawal facilities, the new ATM will support local individuals and businesses to deposit and transfer money on a 24/7 basis. It is part of the Bank’s MVR 300 million investment program to expand banking services and financial inclusion across the country. The facility was officially inaugurated by Director of BML Islamic, Zulkarnain Bin Taman, at a ceremony held on the island today.
Speaking at today’s event, Zulkarnain said “We are delighted to launch this state-of-the-art Self-Service Banking ATM here in Fares Mathoda. It marks another important step in our ongoing investment program, a program that is benefiting individuals, families and businesses right across the country. We are particularly pleased to be able to support the local community here in Fares Mathoda.”
With a nationwide network of 34 branches across all 20 atolls, 32 Self Service Banking Centres, 91 ATMs, 4,900 Point of Sale merchants, 205 agents and a full suite of Digital Banking services, Bank of Maldives is committed to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across the Maldives.
