BML Moves Digital Banking Requests to Aaya

Bank of Maldives (BML) has begun rolling out updates to Aaya across its Mobile Banking App and Internet Banking, changing how customers submit banking requests through its digital platforms.

Under the updated process, customers will no longer be able to send banking requests through the messaging feature available on the app and Internet Banking. Requests and customer queries will instead be handled through Aaya.

BML said the update is intended to provide faster assistance and simplify the process of accessing banking services. Customers requiring additional support will also be able to connect with a bank staff member through Aaya.

The changes form part of the bank’s continuing efforts to improve its digital banking services and customer experience.
