Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has announced that a bus card will be required to travel via the MPL bus starting from November 1st.
In their announcement, the company said that the customers will be required to make use of the bus card to utilize bus services provided by the Greater Male’ Transport Link. They have also said that they will cease the sale of tickets starting from next month onward.
Customers were initially required to use the bus card when bus services on Sinamale’ Bridge first began. However, due to lax regulations, the sale of tickets was allowed and this led to considerable delay in bus services.
MPL is the service provider for bus travel between Male’ – Hulhumale’ and MVR 10 is charged per ticket for travel between the two hubs.
