China shutdown hospitals after the number of COVID-19 patients continues to drops.
China has reported the lowest number of deaths from the disease compared to previous months, and new confirmed cases also hit a record low to 40, leading to the shutdown of 11 temporary hospitals at the virus epicenter in Wuhan.
China’s central Hubei province, the epicenter of the country’s COVID-19 outbreak, reported fewer than 200 cases of new infections for the first time since January.
The decline was driven by a fall in new cases in Wuhan, where the virus first appeared last December, which reported 193 new infections, the lowest since January 26.
