Adam Azim, CEO of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), and team has met with the Members of Maabaidhoo Island Council today and inspected the L. Maabaidhoo Harbor.
MTCC successfully completed work on the construction of L. Maabaidhoo Harbour New Channel project on 18th August 2020. Under this project, dredging operations of 17,503 cbm were undertaken to create a new harbour channel. Additionally, the existing harbour channel was closed.
Project works also involve the construction of a 253m breakwater; a 19m sub merge breakwater; 83m revetment, bridge construction and installation of navigation lights.
According to MTCC, the estimated value of the project is MVR 22.4 million.
