Statistics show that imports and exports have decreased in February 2021, compared to the same time frame last year.
Maldives Customs statistics reveal that there was a decline of 25 percent in the value of goods imported during February 2021. Meanwhile, exports fell by 40 percent when compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the state experienced a 15 percent decrease in import revenue as well.

Vessel movement statistics show that 121 vessels arrived in Maldives in February 2021, compared to 103 vessels in February 2020. Additionally, 132 vessels departed in February 2021, which is 19 more vessels compared to the same period last year.
Total number of declarations processed last month is 15,397.
