Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has awarded the construction of a daycare centre and a parking building in Hulhumale’ to two companies.
HDC awarded the construction of a daycare centre to Associated Business Agents (ABA). At a ceremony held at HDC, the agreement for the daycare centre was signed by the Managing Director of HDC Ahmed Athif. Managing Director of ABA Abdulla Qasim signed the agreement on behalf of his company.
HDC said that there are a large number of couples working in Hulhumale’ and that a daycare centre will be established to create a safe environment for their children.
The daycare centre is a six-storey centre with a capacity of 3,000 square feet. HDC said that the daycare will provide state-of-the-art services and that special clinics will be established for children with disabilities at the centre. HDC added that the daycare center will be completed within two years.
Meanwhile, HDC awarded the construction of a parking building in Hulhumale’ to Damas Company Private Limited. Athif signed the agreement on behalf of HDC to build a parking building in Hulhumale’. Managing Director of Damas Ahmed Solih signed the agreement on behalf of the company.
The six-storey building will have a total space of 24,700 square feet and will also include basement parking. The building will also have well-equipped parking services, including services for people with special needs.
Solar panels will also be installed on the terrace of the building to generate energy. A food court will also be constructed in the building. Two floors of the parking building will be dedicated to commercial purposes and will have shops and gardens.
The parking building project was agreed to be completed within two years.
