Dhaalu Airport, located in Dhaalu Atoll, which was developed by reclaiming land from Dhaalu Kudahuvadhoo lagoon, has been showed off to the public. According to developer Riolo Group’s CEO: “ All aspects of the approximately USD 20 million project has been completed. Just minor legal arrangements are yet to be done. ”
While final arrangements to officially open up the airport are in full swing teachers, school kids and citizens were shown important areas of the airport. Similarly, airport operator Dhaalu Holdings are prepping to land the airports first test flight.
Dhaalu Holding believes that this airport would arguably be the most complete regional airport in the country having reclaimed over 64 hectors from the nearby Kudahuvadhoo.
