Leading telecommunications company in the Maldives, Dhiraagu has been conferred with Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA)’s ‘Ran Laari’ award in the State Owned Enterprises category.
During MIRA’s 8th year anniversary celebrations, the award was accepted by Dhiraagu’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Robin Wall.
The telecommunications giant has been successfully working towards providing internet and mobile phone services across the country.
Whilst Dhiraagu won the award in the State Owned Enterprises category, the company has made a net profit of MVR 898 million during the past year.
The ‘Ran Laari’ awards are given to recognize taxpayers who pay the highest amount of taxes to MIRA in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth.
