Dhiraagu has announced the successful conclusion of its latest esports event, the Dhiraagu EAFC Mini Series 1.
The three-day competition, held at Dhiraagu Head Office, attracted over 500 players and offered a total prize pool of MVR 40,000. Open to the public, the event showcased live matches and provided an engaging environment for fans and supporters.
In addition to the main EAFC 24 tournament, the event featured a Tekken Open tournament alongside EAFC Duos and Mortal Kombat challenges.
The enthusiastic response from the Maldivian gaming community underscores the importance of such tournaments in fostering the growth and development of local esports talent. Dhiraagu’s commitment to organizing varied esports events throughout the year aligns with this goal.
After competitive matches, Team Unified New Generation emerged victorious in the EAFC Mini Series 1, with Team PND.XML securing second place and Team Unified Sports Club claiming third. Mohamed Ashwan was crowned champion of the Tekken Open, with Ahmed Thaabish as runner-up.
