Dhiraagu earned MVR 210 million as net profit in the second quarter of 2019.
Quarterly reports published by the company shows compared to profit made in the first quarter of this year, the profit rate has decreased within the second quarter of 2019.
Dhiraagu’s total income also saw a decrease where the company earned MVR 280 in the first four months, while in the second quarter they made a profit of MVR 251 million.
Telecom Giant, Dhiraagu recently celebrated the expansion of their fiber broadband services to 75% of Maldives. They also inaugurated a special programme named “Digital Raajje”, aiming to digitalize the whole country.
The company has also hosted various activities within the quarter aimed to empower the youth and for the protection of the environment. Similarly, the company held the “AngelHack” hackathon in collaboration with Spark Hub Maldives and Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) in July.
