Dhiraagu has announced the company has extended support to the Learning Support Class of G.Dh. Atoll Education Centre under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
A special event was held at G.Dh. Atoll Education Centre in GDh. Thinadhoo to handover much-needed resources to the school’s Learning Support Class. This included computer systems, multi-functional printers, headsets, beanbags, and floor mats required by the class, which will help the setup at the school’s special education unit to support children with disabilities.
The event was attended by the management of Dhiraagu and G.Dh Atoll Education Centre as well as students, parents and the team from Dhiraagu Thinadhoo Operations Centre.
Speaking at the event, Dhiraagu’s Director of Customer Service and Regional Operations, Masool Ali, highlighted the importance of inclusive communities. He also applauded the school’s focus on fostering an environment where each child can flourish and extended best wishes to the school and all students.
G.Dh. Atoll Education Centre’s Principal, Shifaz Mohamed, thanked Dhiraagu for the company’s support and contribution to the Learning Support Class. He further reiterated that this contribution will positively impact the children with disabilities and assist in the school’s goals to support inclusive education.
