Dhiraagu Extends Support to the Special Education Unit of Jalaluddin School

Dhiraagu has extended its support to the Special Education Unit of Jalaluddin School, Kulhudhuffushi City, under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

A special ceremony was held at Jalaluddin School in HA. Kulhudhuffushi to handover the muchneeded resources to the school’s Special Education Unit. This included computer systems, furniture, gym exercise balls, books and puzzles and other resources as required by the unit, which will help the students to further enhance their studies.

The Mayor of Kulhudhuffushi City, Mohamed Athif was the Chief Guest of the handover ceremony held at Jalaaluddin School, Kulhudhuffushi. The ceremony was also attended by Dhiraagu management, Jalaluddin School management, students, and parents as well as the team from Dhiraagu Kulhudhuffushi Operations Centre.

Speaking at the ceremony, Kulhudhuffushi City’s Mayor, Mohamed Athif stated, “Any contribution made towards education is an important investment made for the future. Therefore, we thank Dhiraagu for this generous contribution to Jalaluddin School’s Special Education Unit, which I am certain will make an important and sustainable impact to the students and teachers at the school.”

As such, we remain dedicated to supporting initiatives such as this which not only contributes to education, but also helps to create more inclusive communities across the country,” stated Mohamed Mirshan Hassan, Director, Brand and Marketing Communications at Dhiraagu.

“Our utmost appreciation goes to Dhiraagu for their support and contribution. These resources will greatly help the school’s Special Education Unit as well as support our overall focus on inclusive education for all,” stated Jalaluddin School’s Principal, Aminath Mohamed.
