Dhiraagu has rolled out a limited-time offer targeting residents of Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) flats, providing a complimentary 5G Turbo Router to customers subscribing to selected broadband plans.
Under the offer, customers who sign up for Dhiraagu 5G Turbo plans priced at MVR 749 and above will receive the router at no additional upfront cost, reducing the initial setup expense for home internet connectivity.
The company’s 5G Turbo service is positioned as a high-speed broadband solution designed to support activities such as streaming, gaming and remote work, with features including low latency and stable connections. Residents are able to activate the service through the Dhiraagu MyAccount platform, which the company states enables a streamlined onboarding process.
To facilitate uptake, Dhiraagu has also deployed on-site support teams near FDC residential towers throughout the week, operating between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. These teams are stationed at dedicated service tents to assist residents with subscriptions and setup.
The offer reflects a targeted approach to expanding broadband adoption within newly developed housing communities, particularly where upfront equipment costs can act as a barrier to entry.
