Dhiraagu, in partnership with the Housing Development Corporation (HDC), has announced a series of festive activities to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha under the banner of ‘Hulhumale Eid Ufaa 2024’. The event, also supported by Gold Partner Sheesha Maldives, will take place in Hulhumale’ from 15-17 June 2024.
The festivities promise a vibrant array of traditional and cultural activities, including Eid vedhun, bodu hulhu jehun, bodumas beynun, maali parade, and koadi kendun. Additionally, there will be special evening events designed for children on 16 and 17 June, ensuring a fun-filled celebration for families.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Dhiraagu’s Director of Brand and Marketing Communications, Mohamed Mirshan Hassan, stated, “We are delighted to partner with HDC and bring the spirit of Eid to the residents of Hulhumale’ City. Eid-ul-Adha has always been a time of celebration and togetherness for us Maldivians, and we are excited to bring various cultural activities to the public this Eid as well.”
Ahmed Yamin, Chief Business Officer at HDC, echoed this sentiment, thanking Dhiraagu for their ongoing support. “We would like to extend our appreciation to Dhiraagu for their continued support for community events such as this. Eid-ul-Adha festivities are an important part of our culture, and we thank Dhiraagu for partnering with us to help bring this colourful event to our Hulhumale’ community,” he remarked.
Among the highlights of the event is the Dhiraagu Eid Bondibaiy, which will be carried out after Eid prayers at the Hulhumale’ Synthetic Track on 16 June. This will be followed by the Dhiraagu Eid Show and the much-anticipated ‘Win A Tesla’ lucky draw announcement on 17 June at 8:00 PM at Hulhumale’ Central Park. HDC will be The Hosting Partner for both of these events.
