Dhiraagu has revealed its financial outcomes for the third quarter of the current fiscal year, disclosing a total revenue of MVR 653 million. This figure demonstrates a 2% uptick compared to the MVR 640 million garnered in the second quarter of the same fiscal year.
Dhiraagu’s revenue predominantly emanates from two pivotal sectors: mobile services, fixed-line, broadband internet, and enterprise enterprises. In the third quarter, mobile services substantially contributed to the company’s income, generating a revenue of MVR 340 million. This represents a noteworthy rise from the MVR 327 million reported in the second quarter.
The data highlights a positive trend in the fixed broadband services segment, with revenues of MVR 293.5 million in the third quarter, surpassing the MVR 289.2 million reported in the previous quarter.
Dhiraagu did encounter an escalation in operating expenses during the third quarter, with costs amounting to MVR 276 million. As a result, the company’s profit after tax deductions stood at MVR 217 million, signifying a 5% reduction compared to the MVR 227 million achieved in the second quarter.
