Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that dredging operations of Dh. Hulhudheli Harbor is well underway, with overall 82% completion.
The first shipment of precast concrete blocks required for the construction of quay wall have been delivered to the project site on 23rd August 2021.
Scope of works for the project include dredging and excavation operations of 49,612 cbm; the construction of a 432m quay wall; a 337m breakwater; and a 252m revetment. Additionally, the installation of 1,645sqm of paved area and streetlights will also be undertaken.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 39.8 million.
