Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that new harbor basin dredging and entrance channel dredging operations to a depth of 8.5MSL (Mean Sea Level) is currently ongoing for S. Hulhumeedhoo MIFCO Harbor Development Project.
MTCC states that the company’s “Jarraafaa 3” runs 24 hours in these operations in 2 shifts.
Scope of works include; dredging and excavation operations of 471,380cbm; reclamation operations of 1,788cbm and construction of a 97m quay wall.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 68.80 million.
