dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives has been named Most Outstanding Culinary Organization at Food & Hospitality Asia Maldives (FHAM) 2026, following a strong performance that earned its culinary team 18 individual accolades.
The resort’s achievements included a historic win for Muslima Adam, who became the first woman to receive FHAM’s Best Chef title. She was also named Best Maldivian Chef 2026.
Muslima won Gold awards in Appetizers – Hot and Cold, Yellow-Fin Tuna Steak – Hot Cooking, and Seafood – Hot Cooking. She also received a Silver award in the Traditional and Modern Maldivian Main Course category.
Aminath Amaany Hussain secured another major honour for the resort after being named Best Maldivian Pastry Chef 2026. Her performance covered the Petits Fours or Pralines, Dress the Cake, and CBL Ritzbury Professional Creative Dessert categories.
Other members of the team were recognised across a range of culinary disciplines. Ali Ziyan received multiple Silver awards in Creative Dunar Rice Dish, Traditional and Modern Maldivian Main Course, Lamb and Seafood, while Thanyarat Puttan was recognised in Poultry – Hot Cooking. Sanjib Gochhayat also received recognition in the Creative Bread Display category.
R.L. Sai Krishna was named a winner in The Young Chef – Main Course & Dessert category. D.G. Susil Asitha Rathnayake was recognised in Beef – Hot Cooking, while Hussain Sammah competed in Potato Innovation. Theepak Selva Kumar and Selestin received Merit recognition in the Mocktail and Barista competitions, respectively.
The team competed under the leadership of Executive Chef Mohamed Adhil, whose culinary direction has focused on talent development, creativity and both Maldivian and international culinary craftsmanship.
