Under the governments social housing policy, an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract has been signed between Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation Limited and Ashoka Buildcon Limited for the development of 2000 Social housing units at Hulhumale’ phase 2. The EPC contract was signed on 27th May 2021.
The project consists of 500 units of 2-bedroom apartments of 650 square feet and 1500 units of 3-bedroom apartments of 900 square feet. The total value for this project is 140 Million US Dollars and is planned to be financed via a loan from the Export Import Bank of India (EXIM Bank). The project is scheduled to be completed within 3 years.
Managing Director Ms. Salfiyya Anwar signed the EPC contract on behalf of FDC and Deputy General Manager, Business Development Mr. Ajay Kankariya signed on behalf of Ashoka Buildcon Limited. The signing event took place virtually.
