Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the first vessel of Raajje Transport Link (RTL) high speed ferry has been launched yesterday.
MTCC further revealed that the engine commissioning and tests and trials will be conducted during this week.
CEO Adam Azim and Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure of Maldives Deputy Director General Anwar Ali and other senior officials of MNPHI & MTCC attended the launching of this vessel.
According to MTCC, operations of the first phase of Integrated National Public Ferry Network Project will begin in the month of November and will be completed in early 2022.
