Foreign Airline Traffic to Maldives Sees Increase in January

The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) reports a significant increase in international flights scheduled to the Maldives in January of this year. This momentum aligns with a rise in overall tourist arrivals.

According to the MMA’s monthly statistics, a total of 1,630 international flights arrived in the Maldives in January. Of these, 1,418 were scheduled flights, with the remaining 212 classified as general, unscheduled flights (including airline charters and private jets).
