Maldives Government has launched a website titled ‘Isles’ comprising information on islands. The website was launched during the first-ever councilors conference, ‘Viavathi Raajje’ held on 15th-16th December 2019.
The website intends to provide general information under one platform along with the latest census statistics. According to the government, one major goal of launching such a website is providing access to information for all citizens.
Isles contains information of all islands of Maldives and provides access to activities held in the islands. The website also consists of information on development projects undertaken in islands in addition to social and economic projects being conducted by the islands. Furthermore, Isles has the latest information on elected councilors and other relevant information.
