Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has welcomed its new third Airbus A320neo, which will begin operating to Gulf Air’s newest destination, Maldives on October.
The airline will receive a total of 12 Airbus A320neo aircraft by the end of 2023, under the major fleet development project.
“We are proud of this fantastic milestone as we continue with our brand promise in expanding our fleet along with our network” stated Krešimir Kučko, Chief Executive Officer at Gulf Air “With its tranquil beaches and crystal clear waters; the Maldives is a breath-taking destination that fits perfectly in our new boutique strategy where we cater to the premium traveler seeking a tropical holiday wrapped in luxury, endorsed by our excellent connectivity through Bahrain International Airport”.
The airline is expected to operate 5 weekly non-stop flights from Bahrain International Airport to Maldives.
