Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has provided an update on the HA. Dhidhdhoo harbor extension and jetty construction project.
According to MTCC, the project is currently underway with 50% project completion. The first shipment of rock boulders required for project work has been delivered to the site and quay wall construction has been completed. Quay wall concrete works and new harbor basin dredging works are currently ongoing at the site.
Scope of works include dredging and excavation operations of 78,000cbm, construction of a 616m breakwater, construction of 58m Groynes; a 185m revetment; a 326m quay wall, construction of 4,320sqm harbor pavement and 02 concrete platforms with the supply and installation of harbor lights.
This project is valued at MVR 74.8 million.
