The staff of Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has contributed a donation for International Aid Campaign to build a water well for the Rohingya Muslims living in Bangladesh.
“What started as a goodwill motive in our planning team is now real in Bangladesh,” stated HDC. “The donations raised from our employees also facilitated another water well that is currently underway.”
The company added that while there are so many people in need of reliable access to safe and clean drinking water, it is important to raise awareness and do whatever we can to help.
Housing Development Corporation is a 100% state owned enterprise formed by a presidential decree, initially established in 2001. HDC undertakes and manages the overall planning and building of the reclaimed city of Hulhumalé, the Maldives’ biggest and most ambitious urban development project.
