Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that work on design and build of Hdh. Nellaidhoo Harbour is well underway, with overall 83% project progress.
The construction of quay wall and installation of harbor pavement are currently ongoing, with 97% and 96% completion respectively.
The Hdh. Nellaidhoo harbor development scheme consists of dredging and reclamation operations of 62,863cbm, breakwater construction of 331m, quay wall construction of 204m, revetment construction of 50m, installation of 2,102sqm paved area, installation of navigation lights and streetlights.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 50.8 million.
