State Trading Organization Plc (STO) has increased the prices in petrol and diesel. This is the 5th time STO has brought changes to the price throughout this year.
The company has stated that there has been an increase of 20 laari per litre. From 1st October onwards, the price of petrol is MVR 10.97 per litre and MVR 11.43 per litre for diesel.
STO raised the prices due to the hiked prices globally.
