Housing Development Corporation decided to temporarily close the Hulhumale’ BBQ area effective from today.
In a press released by HDC, they have stated that they plan to remove bbq pit, table, and chairs from the area. They have also highlighted that this decision was taken to clean the area for the development of Hulhumale’ phase 1 and phase 2.
Hulhumale BBQ area is a place families usually go to spent some family time and is also a popular hangout place among youth. HDC is yet to announce the re-opening day of the area.
