The mobile application procurement aims to build a dedicated mobile interface for travellers, while the concurrent website tender focuses on rebuilding the carrier’s primary web portal.

Under the conditions set out in the Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation, developers must complete and submit standard EOI forms via email to IASL’s procurement department no later than 14:00 hrs on 27 October 2026. The national carrier confirmed that only firms that complete registration by this deadline will qualify to submit formal proposals.

Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL) is a state-owned enterprise established by presidential decree in 2000 to manage and operate the national airline of the Maldives. Operating under the flagship brand Maldivian, the company serves as the backbone of the country’s domestic transport network, connecting local island communities and resorts via scheduled wheel-based and seaplane flights from its hub at Velana International Airport (VIA). Beyond inter-atoll connectivity and select regional international routes, IASL oversees an integrated aviation portfolio that includes ground handling, airport management, engineering maintenance, cargo operations, and airport lounge services across the archipelago.
