President of the Council of Chartered Accountants of Maldives, Auditor General Hassan Ziyath addresses the public with a special message on the occasion of International Accountants Day 2020. In his speech, Ziyath expressed high hopes for the development of the accounting profession in the country due to the recent establishment of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Maldives (CA Maldives) with a promise of developing the institute strong enough to achieve national and international repute.
CA Maldives has organized a career guidance session today for the students of higher secondary education delivered by highly experienced local professionals. The session will highlight the role of accounting in our industry and the existing opportunities to pursue a career in the accounting profession.
In addition, a special webinar discussion with an esteemed team of panel members will be held on the theme: Future Ready Accountants tonight at 20:30hrs. The discussion will bring together ideas and perspectives from different areas of the accounting profession and address the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. The webinar is open for registration and will be made public via Facebook live.
