Eleven land plots are to be leased from the Thilafushi Industrial Zone (TIZ) for warehouse and commercial purposes.
Greater Male’ Industrial Zone Ltd (GMIZL) which is maintaining the TIZ stated that interested parties can bid for a maximum of three plots of land from the zone. Each plot of land will have a registration fee of MVR 200.
The company also stated that each plot of land which individuals wish to bid on have to be registered separately, and that the registration fee is non-refundable.
In addition to the registration fee, a bid security of MVR 5,000 has to placed on the plot of land. Bid securities have to be paid before 12PM on the 11th of June. Parties failing to pay the bid security before the deadline will be unable to bid for the land.
GMIZL stated that a date and venue for bid submission is yet to be decided.
The land plots from TIZ range from 1,995sqft to 20,067sqft.
